A marble x reader story, coming to an Ajisbest near you.
Gonna be a sad one boys
Eyup. You heard me right, Marble Pie to celebrate the beginning of November. What was intended to be a thousand words is once again more like three. Darned flow of consciousness stuff, not really learning about the characters and their motivations until they show me! What a roller coaster. Makes me worried I'm schizophrenic sometimes; multiple personalities, don't you know.
The final chapter is finally up. I like how this turned out and I want to give a big thanks to everyone who has been following along. I do hope the ending, messages and feel of this finale meet expectations and it was a fun and thoughtful ride. It was nice working with lesser used characters and if you are a fan of them I'd like to think I've done them justice. Enjoy.
Can You See Me Now is a story I've been wanting to write for awhile now but have workshopping endlessly. I finally reached a point where I felt the only thing to do was just write it and rely on feedback. This is the first story that I am going in without 100% confidence in its totality. I know how it starts, I know how it ends and I have key scenes in place but other than that I am playing it by ear. So for this one, I'm really asking for feedback on how you all think it is stacking up
Of course we know that in certain situation Pinkie can snap, lose all her positive energy and just deflate becoming sad, angry and more than a little crazy, but do the other three have similar situations? And will they flip to a more high energy Pinkie like state? Or would it depend on which one? Perhaps Maud and Limestone flip with Marble becoming more Pinkie like? Somehow neither of the two lesser known sisters adopting Maud's stoicism seems quite appropriate.
Any opinions?
It's three in the morning here and I'm about two months late to the matter at hand, but I have never been more inclined to bash FiM than I have right now. I stopped watching during season six, the season five finale just wrapped the show up so well for me, and I really disliked the season six finale.
However, I was browsing Derpi and randomly came across a tag, and then a set of images.
Chapter five is up and we're in the home stretch now as the next chapter will be the finale to the story. Still not much traction with this one, but at the same time it has no downvotes so I can't complain. If you are keeping up with the story then thank you and I hope the conclusion satisfies. See you at the end.
Yes, 'tis true, my friends and comrades! My story Marble's Horizon is now a finalist in the Everfree Northwest Scribblefest contest! In fact, it's in the running for two different categories!
Isn't that nice, Marble?
"Mm-hmm."
First and foremost, for my "Iron Horse" readers who have been quite patient, I am happy to report that the next chapter is just about ready to go. It just needs one more look-over and a completed illustration. It should go up, if all goes well, by tomorrow.
Big Mac likes Marble Pie cause she's a life size version of the Smarty Pants doll
...
Did I just blow your minds right there
(Just FYI I don't support this ship)
So for the past three weeks or so I have been writing a novella about Trixie and Marble. I just finished the rough draft of the story and will be tackling a proper revision process here soon. My hope is to get this story done and start publishing chapters in about three weeks to a month. Until then you will have to make due with a few short stories, but never fear, this brony has epicness in his dna. Keep an eye out for any updates about this story in the near future.
Chapter 2 of my new story is finally up. I've still got family coming and going so my work on this has been slower than usual; speaking of which, Happy New Year to everyone. In this chapter, our three focuses make their appearance after their encounters with Renaissance and definitely leave an impact. The important thing I want to get across with this story is that Zephyr, Marble and Snips may come off as out of character but that is the entire point. How this all works gets
Chapter 3 is done, after some delay due to work load. So far, this story isn't exactly setting the site on fire; which may be the folly of using less popular characters. Even so, I don't intend to abandon the idea. Again, feel free to share whatever you may think or find within the story. Enjoy.
With chapter 4, we're at the meat of the story where the second round of confrontations details more of Zephyr, Marble and Snips' deep rooted feelings about their lives. This point in the story is the fundamental idea I had when I first came up with the idea for this story; so I hope it impacts in all the right ways as I'm am not trying to force unnatural or out of character motivations. I can genuinely see these three feeling this way based on what has happened and how they are used and
The story is here:
Where the Smile Doesn't Reach
The description is this:
Marble has always been told to just put on a pretty smile. But sometimes the prettiest smiles hide oceans of deep secrets.
When she meets a new pony, it's like all her worries and demons melt away.
Captain Hairball beat me to it, but my chess-themed Father's Day fic is live, thus making the return to horse plans complete.
